POSHAN ABHIYAN ACTIVITY (4TH- 6TH DECEMBER)
Our school conducted various activities under the poshan Abhiyan initiative, launched by the Hon'ble Prime Minister to improve the nutritional status of children and women. Organized from 4th to 6th December during Poshan Maah, the activities promoted health, nutrition awareness, and sustainability.
The program began with the Poshan Pledge, where students committed to maintaining good health, spreading the message of healthy eating, and avoiding junk food. A group discussion on “Let’s Talk About Anaemia” educated students on its causes, symptoms, and prevention, encouraging healthier choices.
Students also participated in a sapling plantation drive to promote environmental care and an essay competition on “Shree Anna: The Powerhouse of Nutrients” to explore the benefits of millets and healthy eating practices. These activities reflected the objectives of POSHAN Abhiyan and fostered awareness about nutrition, hygiene, and environmental responsibility.
