Imagine Tomorrow” Inter-School Competition
K.R. Mangalam World School, Greater Noida, in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Art and Design (IIAD), hosted an Inter-School Competition
on October 18, 2024. The event featured categories such as Fashion Design, Wall Art, Structural Design, Filmmaking, and Waste to Utility, with 150
students from eight Delhi NCR schools participating. The competition aimed to explore new-age careers, promote creative learning, and foster problem-solving
skills among students.
The event began with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony and a dance performance titled "Awakening the Shakti Within." Principal Mrs. Sonia
Anil Verma encouraged students to unlock their potential. The jury, including experts like Mrs. Boishali Sinha and Mr. Shivam, praised the participants'
creativity and innovation.
Highlights of the winners included:
- Fashion Design: 1st - Lotus Valley International School
- Wall Art: 1st - Delhi Public School, Gautam Buddh Nagar
- Structures: 1st - K.R. Mangalam World School, Greater Noida
- Filmmaking: 1st - Delhi Public School, Gautam Buddh Nagar
- Waste to Utility: 1st - Delhi Public School, Gautam Buddh Nagar
The event concluded with a vote of thanks and recognition for the jury and IIAD’s efforts. The competition celebrated the blend of art, design, and technology, marking a successful and enriching experience.
