CELEBRATION OF CBSE POSHAN PAKHWADA 2025

Theme: Promotion of Traditional and Local Food, Health, and Hygiene Awareness

In alignment with the CBSE’s Poshan Pakhwada 2025 initiative, K.R. Mangalam World School, Greater Noida, organized a series of meaningful activities to raise awareness about traditional and local food, health, and hygiene among students of Grades VI to XII.

The celebration featured two major components:

  1. Poster Making Activity (Grades VI–VIII):
  2. Students showcased their creativity through posters highlighting the significance of traditional Indian foods, their health benefits, and safe storage and consumption practices. This activity encouraged research, innovation, and awareness about local nutrition.

  3. Cultural Showcase (Grades IX–XII):
  4. Senior students presented a vibrant cultural display representing the diverse food and traditions of various NCERT regions. Dressed in traditional attire and accompanied by folk music and dance, the event reflected India’s rich culinary heritage and the value of cultural preservation.

Learning Outcomes and Skills Developed:

  • Enhanced understanding of indigenous food systems and hygienic habits.
  • Promotion of critical thinking and research skills.
  • Development of creativity, innovation, and effective communication.
  • Strengthened student engagement with community health and sustainability goals.

  • Through these initiatives, the school reinforced the importance of holistic nutrition and traditional knowledge in building a healthy and informed generation.
