CBSE NATIONAL ADOLESCENT SUMMIT 2024

The Central Board of Secondary Education hosted the National Adolescent Summit 2024 on December 20-21 at the National Bal Bhawan, New Delhi. The summit, themed “Life Skills, Mental Health, Safety, and Well-being,” aligned with the vision of NEP 2020 and aimed to promote holistic student development.

Inaugurated by CBSE Chairman Rahul Singh, the summit emphasized adolescence as a transformative stage, requiring education beyond academics to develop life skills and resilience. Himanshu Gupta, CBSE Secretary, highlighted the need for emotional and psychological support in schools to address student stress and mental health concerns.

Over 850 participants from India and abroad attended. K.R. Mangalam World School proudly participated in various events, including:

  • Health and Wellness Exhibition: Projects by Shivam Dass, Soumya, Pahul Kaur, and Aakarsh.
  • Yuva Sansad: Shivam Dass debated on key youth issues.
  • Kalakriti & Tarang: Art and classical dance by Shivam and Pahul Kaur.
  • Manovriti, Samvedna, and Q-Smart: Film screenings, mentoring sessions, and a quiz competition.
The summit concluded with Rajat Sharma advocating for ethical media practices and critical thinking among youth.
